BUSHENYI DISTRICT BOSS CALLS FOR FACILITATION OF THE PRESS TO BOOST INFORMATION DISSEMINATION

He says if government ministries and Departments want information to be disseminated  they should   always consider the press in  as far as facilitation is concerned.

 Addressing journalists Gregory Tushabe the Assistant District Health Officer Bushenyi called on journalists to sensitize  parents about the importance of vaccinating their  children in the the age bracket (12-17) against covid 19.

He adds that all the health units In Bushenyi have enough vaccines to carryout the vaccination of all children against covid 19 .

It Should be noted that during his previous nation address , President Museveni  confirmed that vaccination of children aged between 12 and 17 will start during the forthcoming holiday period, but with the consent of their parents.

Addressing the press after the one day workshop,Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante the Managing Director MK NEWSLINK.COM who was among the facilitators  commended HENJU for equipping journalists with skills of how to write stories concerning health science.

Kasibante Further called on journalists to roll out sensitisation of the masses to be vigilant against covid 19.
