Bushenyi district councilors have expressed concern over the delay of Emyooga government money.
Emyooga program was introduced by president Museveni to help Ugandans out of unemployment and poverty.
The program was aimed at boosting economic status of the citizens national wide through forming groups of their skills.
However, Bushenyi councilors yesterday during their meeting wondered why the beneficiaries are yet to receive their money
Councilor Douglas Mucunguzi told the house that it has been three month since the beneficiaries were told to save money on the group accounts with hopes of getting money to use in their business but up to now they have not seen any coin.
Dagalas noted that this is so unfortunate for some beneficiaries who sacrificed their capital and saved it on Emyooga accounts hoping to get more.
The speaker of the council Hon. Brusadi tasked the District Commercial Officer to work with the RDC and sort out the issue of Emyooga.
