Sheila Ainembabazi the Bushenyi district female youth councilor aspirant has revealed that she will ensure that youth services from the government reach the youth but not those above the youth age bracket.
Ainembabazi is a graduate teacher born in Kashenyi ward Bushenyi ishaka municipality but married in Ibaare subcounty Igara East Bushenyi district.
She notes that most of the political seats meant for the youth are taken by individuals who claim to be of age though they are above 30 years.
She adds that these same people cannot fight for the rights and benefits of the youths. At the end of the day, the youths do not benefit because they do not have a voice.
Ainembabazi cited out Rosemary Atuhaire who has been a youth councilor for 10 years and wants to stand again claiming she is still a youth.
Ainembabazi told www.mknewslink.com that some of these individual adults have gone as far as forging their national identity cards so as to fit in the youth age bracket.
She reveals that if elected, she looks forward to making sure that the unemployed youths are informed of any job opportunities in case they are job adverts at the district where they sit.
Ainembabazi will tussle it out with the incumbent Rosemary Atuhaire, Barbra Gumoshabe former TV West Employee
