Operation Wealth Creation-OWC has today 18th October 2018 formed Bushenyi district farmers management committee by a team of managers from head quarters led by Grace Kazigati.
The formation of such committees started from LC 1, 2, 3 within 8 pilot districts. According to Kazigati, they will also form Ankole regional committees and then national.
Kazigati noted that these committees will help the operation wealth creation staff and extension officers to easy their work.
She added that the committees will also help to commercialize farming in communities of Bushenyi district.
Eldard Muhangisa was elected chairman of the 25 committee members from the 14 sub counties that form Bushenyi district.

Muhangisa asked the authorities to give the committees executive office, appointment letters and timely facilitation in form of cash for the smooth running of services.
