BUSHENYI DISTRICT WOMAN MP ELECT ANNET MUGISHA MOURNS KAMPALA ARCHBISHOP LWANGA

Bushenyi woman MP elect Annet Katusiime Mugisha has joined the rest of Ugandans to mourn the death of Kampala Archbishop Cyprian Lwanga Kizito.
In her Whatsapp post yesterday, Annet Mugisha noted that she has lost a father, son and faithful servant of God.
She described him as a leader who has contributed much to the development of Catholic Church and unity for all through his works and words of wisdom.
The woman MP elect added that the man of God will forever be in their hearts and wished his soul to rest in eternal peace plus gates of heaven being opened up for him.
Archbishop Cyprian Lwanga Kizito was announced dead yesterday 3rd April 2021.
The Archbishop was found dead in his room this morning,” a brief release sent out yesterday afternoon by Fr. Pius Male Ssentumbwe, the chancellor of the Kampala Archdiocese, said.
His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga was born on 19th January 1953, at Kyabakadde, Naggalama, in the present Lugazi Diocese.
He was ordained a priest on 8th April 1978 at Lubaga Cathedral by His Eminence Emmanuel Cardinal Nsubuga.
He was appointed first Bishop of Kasana-Luweero Diocese on 16th November 1996 and ordained Bishop on 1st March 1997 at Kasana-Luweero.
He was appointed the third Archbishop of Kampala on 19th August 2006 and installed as the third Archbishop of Kampala on 30th September 2006 at Lubaga Cathedral.
