BUSHENYI FDC FLAG FLIES AT HALF MAST AS PARTY MEMBERS MOURN MURDER OF NUP SUPPORTERS

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in Bushenyi district has today raised flags at half-mast as they mourn the death of people who were yesterday killed in Kampala Free Bobi Wine protests.
According to Police report, three people died while 34 were injured in yesterday’s Kampala protests which were organized after the arrest of presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi.
This morning FDC in Bushenyi district held a press briefing at its office in Bushenyi town along Nyamushekyera road where they expressed mixed reactions concerning yesterday’s riot.
Bushenyi FDC woman MP flag bearer Federica Nshemerirwe who heads FDC publicity in Bushenyi vowed that FDC Flags will remain at half-mast for three days as they show their dissatisfaction on how the security organs treat opposition candidates.
Guma Gumisiriza the Bushenyi district FDC chairman revealed that president Museveni should stop pretending and come out clearly to tell this nation that he does not want anyone to compete against him adding that if need be let him declare himself a life president.
Pison Mugizi the commissioner of People’s government in Bushenyi district wants the Electoral commission to halt all physical campaigns and limit them only to media for a peaceful electoral process.
