BUSHENYI INTEGRATED FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT CELEBRATES TEN YEARS IN STYLE, WITH 33 ORPHAN GRADUATES AND 800 SENIOR SIX LEVERS

Bushenyi integrated for rural development a nongovernmental organization based in Bushenyi will this year celebrate ten years of existence
The organization has helped needy people to attain quality education at all levels
Sister Ephrance Nuwamanya the executive director of BIRD told www.mknewslink.com, a western Uganda news website that the organization has paid for about 33 students at the university of which 11 of them have completed their studies.
She also said that the organization has seen off over 800 students from senior six and some few to university.
Sister Ephrance further said the students under the sponsorship of BIRD are equipped with enough scholastic materials, laptops good accommodation to ensure they attain quality education
The soft spoken lady said that they have helped students from Mbarara,Bushenyi,Gulu, Ntungamo and other western districts of Uganda
She said they have students in Bishop mc Allister college Kyogyera,Kibingo Girls and Ryakasinga Center for Higher Education. In Universities, they are in Makerere university,Mbarara university,Uganda Christian University-Mukono and Bishop Stuart university all in Uganda
Bushenyi integrated for rural development acquires its funding from its mother organization Bushenyi Alliance for rural and health Development based in USA and its sole goal is to fundraise for the needy in Uganda.
Sister Ephrance noted that the climax celebration activities will be held in August 2017 in Bushenyi town where the headquarters of BIRD are housed. She added that funders from BARHD will attend the climax celebrations.
