BUSHENYI-ISHAKA MP BLASTS MUSEVENI’S GUARDS FOR RAPING THREE GIRLS

Bushenyi-Ishaka member of parliament, Arinda Gordon –Cow Boy has castigated three soldiers of the Elite special forces command for raping two girls at a bar in Bushenyi town on Sept 02, 2016.
The soldiers were identified as John Bwambale, Benea Mutungisa and one only known as Tadeo
MP Arinda told www.mknewslink.com editor at Kimeza bar in Bushenyi town yesterday evening that he was going to raise the issue at the floor of parliament this week for government and minister of defense to discipline the errant soldiers.
According to Arinda, the three soldiers on their way to Mitooma district where president Museveni was scheduled to visit for a thanksgiving of Minister Kahinda Otafiire, stopped in Bushenyi town and drunk alcohol at Rafiki bar on liberation road.
After getting drunk, they ordered everyone to go out of the bar and then embarked on the girls and raped them.
The soldiers were arrested and taken to Bushenyi police station where they were released the following day. The regional spokesperson for greater Bushenyi Martial Tumusiime told this editor on phone that investigations are going on in the case.
“We cannot allow such kind of impunity to continue. Am going to raise matter at the floor of parliament this week as a matter of national importance” Arinda said
“What kind of image are these soldiers portraying since they are guarding the president. Me as an NRM MP and supporter of president Museveni can’t allow this to continue” Arinda warned
Arinda called on the police for speedy investigations in the case such that these soldiers are brought to book.
