BUSHENYI ISHAKA MUNICIPALITY NEW MAYOR’S FIRST DAY IN OFFICE

The newly sworn mayor for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Richard Byaruhanga has asked all residents in the municipality to bring their ideas to him instead of being critical to his regime.
He said this today morning May 31, 2021 in an interview with www.mknewslink.com as he reported for his first day in office.
www.mknewslink.com managing editor visited him briefly at his office to give the highlights of what he is going to do for the people of Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
He noted that he does not want people to do a post mortem of what he has done but rather they should be part of planning and implementation of activities in the municipality.
“I don’t want people to take this municipality to be my personal property. They should be part of the activities from the start. I don’t want them to come at the last hours to do a post mortem,” Byaruhanga revealed.
On the issue of technical staff fighting with the former mayor, he said he has already got a solution to the problem; the mayor and staff would not tell each other the truths.
Byaruhanga who was sworn in 19th May 2021 is an accountant by profession and was once an accountant at Bushenyi Local government before he retired to become the chairperson Lc3 for central division in the same municipality.
