BUSHENYI MAN, 2 COLLEAGUES ARRESTED OVER MURDER OF NTOROKO DISTRICT NRM BOSS

Police have confirmed that they have 3 people who are alleged to be behind the kidnap and death of fallen Ntoroko district NRM chairperson Japheth Kabagambe Aheebwa.
According to Charles Twine, the spokesperson CID in Kibuli, the arrested are Alleluia Barnabas from Kabale district, Herbert Mutamba of Kyeizooba Igara in Bushenyi district and one Ahimbisibwe a resident of Kinoni Mbarara district.
Twine told journalists that the trio who had served 8 years in prison on charges of murder, aggravated robbery confessed to have had a hand in the murders in greater Ankole and Toro sub region.
He further noted that the trio have confessed to killing Japeth Kabagambe, the Ntoroko district NRM chairman and another woman identified as Nabirinde Melesi whom they lured to Ishongororo town council in Ibanda district and strangled her to death after robbing her 5Million UGSH.
Japeth Kabagambe went missing on 2nd September in Fort Portal City before his body was discovered in a swamp in Ibanda on 4th September.
Police traced the trio through the owner of the vehicle that they had hired to commit the crime, according to Charles Twine..
