Police in Bushenyi district are holding a 32 year old man over alleged impersonation.

According to SP Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi police spokesperson, the suspect has been obtaining money by false pretence from traders in Ishaka claiming he is a UPDF officer.
SP Tumusiime told www.mknewslink.com that the impersonator was arrested after the surveillance team informed the police.
He advised all Ugandans to adhere to the presidential directives saying if not they are risking being arrested and even charged in courts of laws.
The Police spokesperson warned criminals against using the Covid-19 crisis as an advantage arguing that police are taking all measures to curb criminality especially animal theft.
