BUSHENYI MAN CHOPS WIFE, ANOTHER RELATIVE OVER MISUNDERSTANDING

Residents of Buhimba cell, Kitwe ward in Kyabugimbi town council Bushenyi district were on Monday night shocked after one of their own chopped his wife and her relative.

John Nuwamanya a resident of the same area used a knife and panga to injury his wife Atukwase Carolidina and another woman identified as Stella aged 25 before he took off.

Benard Turyamureba, the chairperson of the area told our reporter that he was sleeping and at around 12 am, two of his residents came looking for him to come and see what had happened only to find Carolidina and Stella lying in a pool of blood at their home.

The chairman added that the two were rushed to the nearest clinic but nurse couldn’t manage their condition thus referred them to Kampala International Teaching University (KIU) for further management

He attributed the incident to misunderstandings between John Nuwamanya and his wife Ms. Atukwaste Carolidina

By press time, police were yet to release a statement concerning the incident.
