In a bid to decrease idleness from youth, raise sports onto another level, the Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality Mayoral Aspirant Martin Rushegyera has started a football and netball tournament.

The tournament is aimed at engaging youth and desist them from bad activities that can be associated with idleness, according to Martin.

“I’m trying to bring the municipality together, it’s so important to keep our young ones off the street at the same time it takes a municipality to make things happen,” Martin Rushegyera said.

Martin decided to start sponsoring a youth football and netball tournament for the young generation of Bushenyi Ishaka municipality during this month.
