BUSHENYI NRM CANDIDATE RUPIHA DIES

NRM candidate in the recently concluded Bushenyi district chairmanship race Alfred Rupiha Bangirana has been reported dead.

Rupiha who died last night succumbed to high blood pressure.

Rupiha lost an election to Jaffari Bassajabalaba in the NRM primary elections for district chairmanship held on 11^th Sept. 2020.

He worked as a councilor for Kyeizooba Sub County during Yowasi Makaru’s regime in the 1990’s.

He also worked at Bishop Stuart University as an academic registrar for over 10 years.
