BUSHENYI PARENTS CHALLENGED TO LAY GOOD FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN

Teachers and parents have been hailed over their tireless efforts in laying a good foundation for local schools.
Speaking at the Parents General Meeting at St. Augustine Secondary School in Ruharo ward, Ishaka Bushenyi Municipality, Christian Ngabirano the headteacher called upon the parents to build a hard brick that will make their children attain all necessities in their education.
The school management invited parents to aiming at developing the school as stake holder and put it at a good standard.
Through parents’ agreement, school fees has been increased, Students in day section have been paying 150.000 and are now going to pay 200.000 and borders will pay 295,000 instead of 280,000 starting next term.
Ronald Rwabutwagu the chairperson PTA asked government to give a helping hand that will help the school improve on its infrastructure especially girls’ dormitory, reserve water, and shift the school pitch to the appropriate area.
He asked parents to continue supporting their school because it’s where their children are getting knowledge.
The school is planning to have their students start sitting their final exams from the school.
