It is alleged that Ryantende sub-parish church was compensated sh 73million after allowing Mota Engil Construction Company to use the church land for three years.
The Portuguese Mota Engil construct company which was contracted to work on Ishaka-Kasese Road entered into an agreement with Roman Catholics of Ryantende Church to use the church land for three years and later build a new church structure on the same land in addition to a compensation of sh.73million.

According to former parish chairman Emmanuel Muhebwa, who signed memorandum of understanding with Mota engil company the money was budgeted to reconstruct the church the structure and a pit latrine since the company demolished the church structure.
He further revealed that sh.70m, was budgeted to build the church while sh.3m was meant to be subscribed to the diocese but Fr. Ndagijiimana did none of both.
