BUSHENYI POLICE ARREST MAN FOR DEFILING THREE TODDLERS

Police in Bushenyi district are holding a 60 years old man who was arrested for allegedly defiling three children aged between 4 and 5 years old on the same date in the past week in Kyamuhunga Sub County.
Fred Murungi alias Muguta, a resident of Bugongo village Kabingo parish Kyamuhunga sub county was arrested on Tuesday this week by officers from Kyamuhunga police station before he was transferred to Bushenyi district police station.
According to Martial Tumusime, the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson, Murungi defiled daughters of Barekye Kamugisha and Asuman Kakwenzya both his neighbors after convincing them to enter into his house and get yellow bananas.
Martial said that information leaked and parents reported the case to Kyamuhunga police station that later intervened arresting Murungi before transferring him to Bushenyi police station.
He said that investigations into the incident continue adding that the suspect would be presented in court charged with aggravated defilement.
