The Police have cautioned drivers to be vigilant about traffic rules and regulations ahead of Easter days.
The greater Bushenyi region Police spokesperson, Martial Tumusime, says that accidents during the Easter days are often as a result of errors triggered by recklessness driving, drink-driving and talking on phones while driving.
Martial was speaking to www.mknewslink.com, shortly after a bus accident that occurred on thursday in Kitojo Sheema district along the Bushenyi Mbarara road and claimed the life of one pedestrian, leaving 7 passengers nursing wounds.
A speeding Kampala-bound bus owned by Swift Safari registration number UAT 395C was trying to overtake Kkingo coaches when it hit a road hump and the driver lost control before it overturned.
