BUSHENYI POLICE IMPOUND TRUCK SUSPECTED TO BE TAKING COWS TO ADF REBELS IN CONGO

Police in Bushenyi are holding a motor vehicle truck loaded with cows suspected to have been trafficked from Tanzania illegally.
The truck Registration Number UBA 297T fully occupied with cows was yesterday intercepted along Mbarara-Kasese road in Bushenyi by police when it was heading to Kasese.
According to the Greater Bushenyi police spokes person SP Martial Tumusiime, the truck got impounded after they got orders from the Ministry of security notifying them to do so.
He added that due to security threats that are coming from ADF, these cows were suspected of being taken to Congo to feed ADF rebels as they are on their trainings.
Both the vehicle filled with cows and its driver are detained at Greater Bushenyi Central police station as deep investigations into the matter carried out.
