BUSHENYI POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH MURDER

Bushenyi police has slapped murder charges against a cadet police officer who shot dead a civilian in Kizinda town last Friday night.
Cadet assistant Supretendant of police John Rothomoi killed Kamadhi Barija Friday night Jan. 19, 2018 in Kizinda Ishaka after a fight.
According to the greater Bushenyi regional police commander, Eddie Serunjoji charges of murder have been preferred against ASP Rothomoi and his file has already been forwarded to the Resident state attorney.
Sources say that after losing his tooth in the fight, the accused police officer went to KIU western campus police post where he picked a gun that he used to kill Kamadhi whom he met on the way.
Sources told www.mknewslink.com news website editor that the late kamadhi and group wanted to forcefully remove a gun from him hence the police officer decided to shoot one of them dead.
Cadet supretendant of police Rothomoi who was the OC KIU western campus, was still doing his internship.
RPC Serunjoji noted that investigators have already ascertained that cadet Rothomoi is the one who shot the deceased.
