BUSHENYI: POLICE RECRUITMENT TO START SOON, CANDIDATES WARNED OF IMPERSONATION

The Uganda police are embarking on the recruitment of more policemen country wide very soon.
The recruitment team is going to move throughout the country and it will recruit probation police constables.
According to the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime, the total number of candidates required will be 4500 and these include the 500 learner assistant inspectors of police.
Martial said that assistant inspectors should hold diploma with science related subjects with the bias in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics while the probation constables will require UCE certificates with 5 credits and mathematics inclusive.
He added that they also need hand written applications accompanied with originals and photocopies of academic documents, ID of attended institutions, and passport photos and their commendation letters from LcI, II, III, plus RDC from the respective districts.
SP Martial added that the documents will be delivered to the recruitment centres on the day of recruitment where they will also conduct physical exercises by running.
He cautioned interested candidates against impersonation and presentation of forged documents/testimonials which may lead to arrest and prosecution in the courts of law.
In Greater Bushenyi Region, recruitment will start on 29th this month with Mitooma district followed by Bushenyi on 30th,, Sheema on 31st, Buhweju on 1st August and Rubirizi on 2nd.
