BUSHENYI RDC HAILS BFM FOR SPENDING UGX 36 M ON LISTENER’S XMAS

Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner Jane Asiimwe Muhindo has hailed Bushenyi FM (BFM) for remembering their listeners and spending on them 36 million shillings.

The RDC said this today afternoon at BFM while officiating at a handover of goats, mattresses, iron sheets, bananas, Rice to the listeners who won in the recent Christmas promotion.

She noted that BFM is the most listened to Radio in greater Bushenyi therefore residents should continue to listen because government programs will continue to channel through the radio.

The chairman board of directors Jonas Tumwiine noted that they have been overwhelmed by support from listeners, a reason they decided to spend 36 million shillings on them. He noted that they will do the same on Easter, Idd and next Christmas.

Julius Tumusime the director in charge of marketing asked the RDC to use the radio to promote programs like the Parish model so that the public can benefit.

BFM will construct a kitchen for a woman who was found cooking from outside while listening to the radio.

Every employee at the station was given money equivalent to a goat for them to enjoy during this Christmas.
