BUSHENYI RETIRED TEACHER REMANDED TO NYAMUSHEKYERA OVER FRAUD

The Bushenyi retired teacher who was arrested for forging documents to defraud the office of the Chief Administrative office was yesterday remanded to Bushenyi government prison Nyamushekyera.
Justus Kiiza Turyamureba a 40 year old, former teacher at Kitwe Primary School and a resident of Rwibare village Kyanzire Parish, Kashenshero Sub County in Mitooma District was on 25th Sept.2019 arrested for allegedly defrauding and forging documents to get pension, arrears and gratuity from the office of Bushenyi CAO
According to the Bushenyi District CAO Malik Mahaba Mulindwa, police investigations were completed yesterday 1st Oct 2019 and his file taken to court.
Malik added that the suspect was then produced before grade one magistrate court in Bushenyi district from where he was remanded to Nyamushekyera prison.
Justus kiiza Turyamureeba (suspect) was retired in 2014 on public interest under claims of harassing pupils homosexually.
Kizza was arrested as he tried to take advantage of the new CAO at Bushenyias by claiming for his arrears, pension and gratuity which he was paid immediately in 2014.
Turyamureeba is currently facing charges of fraud and forgery.
