BUSHENYI SCHOOL TO REPRESENT UGANDA IN EAST AFRICA MUSIC COMPETITIONS

Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi will be among the three schools chosen to represent Uganda in East Africa music competition scheduled to be held in Nairobi-Kenya in December 2017.
According the head teacher Parental Care P/S; Freedom Magezi, the school emerged 3rd best out of 49 participating schools.
He noted that according to the competition guidelines it’s only the best three that qualify to represent Uganda at the regional competitions. The others are; the 1st is Buganda Road P/S from KCCA, Stella malice P/S from Buikwe district and then parental care primary school.
He added that other schools that had come from Ankole to participate in the competitions include; Kyeizooba P/s ,Mbarara Junior School, Uganda Martyrs P/S and the giant Parental Care P/S.
The headteacher attributed the excellent performance to the school music teacher; Charles Mugonera and external trainers from Kampala who enhanced the skills of the pupils.
Parental Care P/S has performed excellently in both academic and co- curricular activities. In 2016 PLE The school obtained 100% first grade.
Still in the same year, it represented western region in UCC innovations competitions, spelling Bee competitions and Music competitions as well.
