BUSHENYI: TODDLER KIDNAPPED FOR RANSOM

Police in Bushenyi are hunting for yet to be identified people on charges of kidnapping a baby aged two years with an aim of demand for ransom.
SP.Martial Tumusiime the Greater Bushenyi Region Police spokesperson has identified child as Isaac a son to Clare Atuhaire a resident of Cell B Ishaka Div. Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality.
Martial noted that the mother of the baby said her son was kidnapped on 11th February 2019 at Kizinda Market around 3pm.
Atuhaire revealed to police that the kidnappers used phone number 0782683955 to call her demanding for a ransom of 5million but later continued reducing first to one million and then to 200,000 so that they could to release the baby.
SP Martial added that the Police are doing everything possible to track down these kidnappers and have the life of the child saved.
