Special investigations done by www.mknewslink.com managing editor Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante have revealed that the district health officer Edward Mwesigye has for a short time enriched himself by immersing riches from the cry patients and community of Bushenyi district.

During the last year covid 19, the ministry of health released 165m to the district to cater for COVID 19 activities but surprisingly Dr. Edward Mwesigye diverted the money to complete his three storied magnificent building that is estimated to be around 1billion shillings

For those who have been to Ishaka, the building is next to Bekunika hardware and park house hotel on kabirisi road.

Dr. Edward has been receiving money from other sources such as Global fund, GAVI, WHO among others.

He has been a DHO for Bushenyi for over 7 years but if you can imagine how much he has immersed you can wonder so much and know that government officials can be so corrupt.

This second wave of COVID 19, Bushenyi has received over 300m and Dr. Edward Mwesigye is already setting another site to balance his books and step up a new building.

He does not give allowances to staff neither does he share what is entitled to staff as public service act requires.

He is referred to by fellow staff as a very mean man; who cannot even buy bottle of water to a fellow staff or client in his office.

This calls for sophiscated and high level investigations by Lt. Col. Edith Nakalema and the IGG to establish the stinking stolen riches by Dr. Edward Mwesigye.

He directs all his resources; stolen and genuinely acquired to immersing riches like the 1B building that www.mknewslink.com has taken a long time to discover.
