BUSHENYI WOMAN ARRESTED WITH STOLEN TODDLER IN KAKANJU

Police in Busheyi are holding a woman who was arrested for stealing another woman’s one month old toddler.

The suspect has been identified as Susan Nuwahereza a resident of Rushinya Kakanju Bushenyi district.

According to SP Martial Tumusiime the Police Public Relations Officer Greater Bushenyi told www.mknewslink.com the mother of the toddler Stella Nankunda of Katungu Ishaka reported a case of a stolen child on 20^th Jan.2021.

Stella Nankunda told police that she had gone for a short call only to find her child missing.

SP Tumusiime revealed that police tracked the phone of the suspected woman until she was arrested in Kakanju where they found her feeding the toddler on water.

On arrest, Nuwahereza told police that her husband has been harassing her that she is barren which forced her to steal one woman innocent child.
