HOIMA RESIDENT STATE ATTORNEY’S FILES TORCHED

Police in Hoima City are investigating circumstances under which unidentified people torched over 100 files in the office of the resident state attorney in Hoima City.
According to the Albertine Regional Police Spokesperson Julius Allan Hakiza, the incident is suspected to have happened between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
He told our reporter that the criminals accessed the resident state attorney’s office through the window, gathered the files, and set them ablaze.
Hakiza disclosed that after getting the information, the fire brigade rushed to the scene and put out the off fire before it could spread to other offices.
The police mouthpiece asserts that they have commenced investigations into the matter.
