CATHOLICS ASKED TO TOLERATE EACH OTHER TO LIVE HAPPILY

As the Catholics mark the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary today, believers have been asked to be humble and tolerate each other if they are to live happily life.
Leading the Mass at Sacred Heart Ntungamo Town Catholic Parish Rev Fr Richard Dennis Ssebugwawo told couples to cooperate, respect and love one another like what Virgin Mary did in Earthly life.
Catholics throughout the world on Thursday celebrated Assumption Day, the day on which they believe that the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus Christ, ascended into heaven.
The same Mass was used for the send off of Rev Fr Richard Dennis Ssebugwawo who was recently posted at Nyamitanga parish and Rev Fr Acleo Kafeero who was posted at Kagongo parish.
Rev Fr Ssebugwawo the parish priest Nyamitanga catholic parish hailed the people of Ntungamo parish and the Municipality at large for the cooperation and love they showed him during his stay of 5 ½ years at the parish.
He urged them to also welcome his successor Rev Fr John Bosco Tumusiime saying that the priests were called to serve wherever they are posted.
Rev Fr Acleo Kafeero the curate Kagongo parish Ibanda thanked Rev Fr Ssebugwawo for mentoring him which has enabled him to manage his priesthood since he was ordained three years and seven months.
The mayor Ntungamo Municipality Jacob Kafureeka alias Jack Jex applauded the former priests for promoting unity saying that they served all people regardless of their religious affiliations.
The Christians gave them gifts as a form of appreciation.
