CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE PALM SUNDAY

Hundreds of Christians in Ibanda district have today joined the rest in the World to celebrate the Palm Sunday as most of them were seen happily waving palm trees.
The Bishop of North West Ankole Diocese, Ibanda district, Rt.Rev. Amos Magezi who presided the service today has hailed the government and the church for the role and mentoring the youth, men and women for creating awareness among themselves to become agents of change by working together as a team.
Speaking today at the climax of Palm Sunday at St. Pauls Cathedral in Ibanda Municipality to mark the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, Rt .Rev. Magezi has cautioned the Youth over extravagance that they need to be developed spiritually and morally and also network with their parents to tap opportunities.
Magezi noted that there is need to build strong relationship between the youth, government and the church for the betterment of the country since the youth are pillars of development.
He advised the old people to work as a team for shaping the youth with counseling and guidance so that they remain health.
