COL. MWESIGYE BOYCOTTS NYABUSHOZI FRESH NRM ELECTIONS, AS KAJWENGYE VOWS TO PARTICIPATE

Nyabushozi county Member of Parliament has confirmed that he will not participate in the forthcoming elections in 84 villages slated to take place on 14th, Oct,2020.
Col. Fred Mwesigye while appearing on NBStv yesterday night with his former contender Wilson Kajwengye confirmed that he will not stand again since he was on 8th, Oct ,2020 confirmed by the NRM party chairman electoral commission Dr. Tanga Odoi as the duly elected Nyabushozi county NRM flag bearer.
Mwesigye noted that initially the party chairman who is also the president had guided that elections be repeated in 26 villages of Nyabushozi that were scheduled to take place on 06th,Oct,2020 following the public outcry that elections in those villages were marred with violence among other irregularities but his colleague Wilson Kajwengye boycotted the exercise when Mwesigye had deployed his agents in those villages.
Mwesigye noted that he was confirmed as Nyabushozi county flag bearer and received endorsement from the party Secretary general as the official NRM flag bearer Nyabushozi county.
“Am the duly elected NRM flag bearer Nyabushozi county so there is no need to repeat these elections without any written official communication,” Mwesigye added
Meanwhile, yesterday Dr.Tanga Odoi the NRM electoral commission chairman while at the party headquarters in Kampala postponed polls in the 84 villages of Nyabushozi that were supposed to take place today 13th to 14th, Oct,2020.
