CONFUSION AT BUSHENYI MULTIPURPOSE HALL AFTER EMYOOGA BENEFICIARIES ARE ADVISED TO FORM SACCO

People supposed to benefit from Emyooga program in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality today got confused after they were told to start up a Municipality SACCO before receiving the money.

More than 500 people from all corners of Bushenyi Ishaka municipality had gathered at Bushenyi multipurpose hall with hopes of going back home with Emyooga program money but only to be disappointed.

Speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter, the people revealed that they were confused as to why they were told to open a SACCO as a requirement before they benefit from this program.

Some shouting on top of their voices said that this program wants to suckle the little money they have instead of helping them to develop.

They also intimated to www.mknewslink.com that they were told that the state sent only 30 million shillings to be shared among more than 500 people who will pay 10,000/= as registration fee in the SACCO.

 Efforts to speak to emyooga program coordinators were futile as they claimed they were busy and in a hurry for other meetings.
