In Bushenyi—
The stakeholders meeting convened by the Bushenyi district chairman Jafar Basajjabalaba to resolve the disagreements on where to locate a 1.6 billion shillings Seed school aborted this morning due to representation issues.
A closed meeting that was supposed to take place at Bushenyi district council hall never saw the light of the day after Basajjabalaba called it off demanding a letter from the Bishop of West Ankole Diocese John Twinomujuni.
Pison Mujizi, a synod member who also sits on the diocesan committee of education, told the Jaffar that he had represented the Bishop which didnt convince him (Jaffar).
Jaffar also noted that he wanted only five representatives from Kabushaho secondary school not the nine who had attended.
The meeting was pushed to 30th this month to allow the Bishop prepare representation.
The fight is between management and community of Kabushaho secondary school under the Anglican church of Uganda.
Its alleged that one group want the seed school to be located at Kigurisi land in Kiyaga parish Bumbaire sub county whereas the Kabushaho group want the seed school to be located at Kabushaho or upgrade Kabushaho secondary school into a government school.
