CORONA VIRUS EFFECT: KABALE MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER FAILING TO BUY SALT FOR HIS FAMILY

Police in Kabale are investigating circumstances that led a 30 year old man to hang him self on 10th May 2020.
The deceased Michael Denis Owamani a resident of Nyakabungo cell Rwene parish Buhara sub county Kabale district was found in his house hanging in a rope at around 7:00pm.
According to police recorded statements,the deceased threatened to kill himself after the wife asked him for salt.
Statements say that the wife left home for some minutes but on returning found a photo of Owamani with a crossed mark on it thus rushed to call his parents who did a search only to find him hanging in a rope in his sitting room.
Police was informed and post mortem done on the body by police surgeon, Elly Mate the Kigezi region police spokeserpson told www.mknewslink.com.
