COUPLE PERISH IN KISORO ACCIDENT WHILE GOING FOR SCIENTIFIC WEDDING, BRIDE SURVIVES

Namanya and Natukunda

Two people have been confirmed dead and one survived with severe injuries in an accident that happened at Kagano along Kabale-Kisoro road.
According to the kigezi region police mouth piece Elly Matte, a Toyota Mark ii reg no UAG 044 M consisting of three occupants,lost control and veered off the road at Kagano along Kabale Kisoro road killing two instantly as it rolled in the valley.
The deceased have been identified as Namanya Hilary 38, the director of Rukundo international a CBO based in kabale and his wife Natukunda Barbra 35, who was academic registrar AICM(African international Christian ministry), all residents of kakabano village, upper Bugongi ,Northern division kabale municipality,in kabale district.
Matte noted that the 3rd occupant Guhirwa Rachael survived the accident and was rescued and taken to Mutolere Hospital where she is currently admitted.
Natukunda and his partern Namanya were heading to kisoro for a scientific wedding of Guhirwa Racheal who was going to be married with Yumvirusaba Nelson of Gisha village, Chahafi parish murora subcouty in kisoro district.
The bodies of the deceased have been conveyed to kisoro Hospital for postmortem investigations continue.
