CROCODILE KILLS MAN IN BULIISA

A 40year old man grabbed and killed by crocodile in Butiaba landing site in Butiaba Town Council Buliisa district.
The deceased identified as Waaku Uchama is a resident of Kekeya Cell Eastern ward Butiaba town council Buliisa District.
The incident happened last evening at around 4: 00pm when the deceased had moved from his village to Piida B cell in Northern ward to carry out fishing on foot [Tegamugu] and so he was grabbed and killed by the crocodile.
Charles Angala the chairperson Piida B cell in Butiaba town council confirmed the incident and said the community should be vigilant enough with the crocodiles since the floods submerged the area ,there are increased number of crocodiles claiming people`s lives.
Angala appealed to the community to avoid unnecessary foot fishing, bathing on the lake shores, washing clothes among other related activities since very many have lost their lives in such ways.
However, by press time the body of the deceased was not yet retrieved from the lake.
It is said in Buliisa District, Butiaba landing site have so far registered a high number of people being grabbed and killed by crocodiles.
