DANGEROUS SITUATION IN BUSHENYI: 43 TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID 19

In Bushenyi—

43 residents of Bushenyi district have tested positive to COVID 19 within a space of around four days.

According to the DHO Dr. Edward Mwesigye the most affected areas are; Central, Ishaka divisions, Kyeizooba, Kyamuhunga and Nyabubare sub counties.

Dr. Mwesigye noted that 28 samples were collected from residents within the district while 15 were tested outside the district.

He revealed that two are admitted at KIU while 41 are being managed from their homes.

He called upon the people of Bushenyi to observe SOPs by wearing masks, washing hands; sanitizing, social distancing and they should remain home.

This wave of COVID 19 is stronger than the first attack since the district registered a few cases compared to the first time.
