DEFILEMENT CASE: FORMER BUSHENYI ISHAKA MUNICIPALITY MP ASPIRANT GRANTED BAIL

Kenneth Akanduhura Mugoha the former Bushenyi Ishaka municipality MP aspirant has been granted bail. He is accused of defiling, impregnating and procuring an abortion of his 15-year-old girl.
Justice Amos Kwizera the Bushenyi high court resident judge ordered the release of Kenneth Akanduhura on a cash bail of shillings 10 M due to his ill health while his sureties are to execute shillings 15M non cash bail.
He was arrested on April 17th 2024 by the CID officials on orders of youth and children affairs minister Balam Barugahara after watching the girl’s sad story on Vision group’s TV West in which relatives claimed the suspect had defiled their daughter in Kyeitembe East ward, Bushenyi-Ishaka and aided abortion and thereafter abandoned her to rot.
It is alleged that in February 2024, Akanduhura Kenneth while in Kyeitembe East ward Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality allegedly forced girl’s door open and convincingly had sex with her and threatened her not report the matter.
Akanduhura 35, on September 16th 2024, appeared before Bushenyi High court resident judge Amos Kwizera on allegations of defiling, impregnating and procuring an abortion to a 15-year-old girl who was his house girl but he pleaded not guilty.
His lordship Amos Kwizera granted him bail but also ordered him to report to the court every after two weeks.
