DIOCESE OF MUHABURA TIPS TEACHERS ON NEW TECHNIQUES

Teachers in kisoro district have been tipped with new techniques to improve on the performance of learners from both government aided and private schools.
The Diocese of muhabura coordinator in education department Rev. Habert Mujabwami revealed that the one day workshop held at Seseme primary in kisoro municipality was to teach teachers on how they can solve challenges they met in schools and also how to help learners excel in their examinations.
Mujabwami added that the workshop was attended by over 300 teachers wishing to always conduct the same every term.
The chairperson of diocese of Muhabura Anglican headteachers Association Augustine Ndizihiwe who doubles as the headteachers Gisoro primary school that the aim of the workshop was to ensure that the performance of learners in the district is improved led by teachers as they had facilitators are amongst teachers who set primary leaving examinations done by all primary seven candidates in the country every year.
Peter Ampurira an examiner of English from Uganda National examination board appreciated teachers and headteachers for attending the workshop and the diocese for its organization towards improving the performance and addressing their challenges affecting the teachers.
He further urged the teachers to use well the acquired tips while at home and school.
