DR. MUCUNGUZI ABEL PROMOTED TO ASS. PROFESSOR BY KABALE UNIVERSITY

A Bushenyi born university Don, Dr. Mucunguzi Abel was last week promoted to Associate professor by kabale university appointments board.
Dr. Abel has been a senior lecturer in the faculty of governance for some years. He was promoted to that position together with other five lecturers in different faculties.
Associate professor Abel Mucunguzi studded from Katunga primary school in Kakanju sub-county in Bushenyi district. He did his ordinary advanced levels at st. Joseph’s vocational school in Mbarara.
He did his first degree at Makerere university as the only university then in Uganda sponsored by government.
He worked at Bushenyi local government as assistant CAO for Igara county. He resigned after completion of his master’s degree at Monash university in Australia.
He was one of the founders of Gulu university as a lecturer in the department of public administration and governance.
Associate professor Mucunguzi left Gulu university after completing his PhD at Antwerp university in Belgium.
He started teaching in universities in Rwanda, KIU western campus and Bishop Stuart university.
Before he went to kabale government university, he served as deputy vice chancellor of Ibanda university.
In an online interview with www.mknewslink.com managing director, Ass. Professor Abel Mucunguzi thanked God who made him achieve the title.
