DRAMA AS PRIEST GRABS MICROPHONE FROM KABALE WOMAN MP NDAMIRA AT BURIAL FUNCTION

In Kabale–
There was drama in Nyakigugwe village in Kaharo Sub County Kabale district at a burial ceremony when a priest grabbed a microphone from the Kabale Woman Member of Parliament, Catherine Atwakiire Ndamira.
While at the funeral of one Ambrose Kibuuka, Ndamira reportedly arrived late and found the Kaharo Sub county district Councilor addressing mourners.
The Councilor proceeded hand over the microphone to Ndamira to address the mourners.
This however didn’t please Rev.Fr George Kigambiroha who stepped up and grabbed the microphone from the MP.
Fr Kigambiroha said he couldn’t allow Ndamira to address the mourners as she had come late thus proceeding with the burial ceremony.
Ndamira is the incumbent Kabale district woman MP who is serving her first term after she defeated former journalist Ninsiima Ronah Ritah in 2016.
She is seeking re-election in the forthcoming elections and some of her competitors include; Evelyn Beinamaryo, Chrispine Rwaboona who is the most favored candidate and Enid Origumisiriza .
