DRUG ADDICT STABS BROTHER TO DEATH IN NTUNGAMO

Police in Ntungamo district are holding a man for assaulting his brother to death.

The OC Rwashamaire Police station Warren Byereta identified the suspect as Mutatina Vearinariyo aged 30years  a resident of Rukanga cell ,Nyabihoko sub county Kajara Ntungamo district.

Warren told www.mknewslink.com reporter that the suspect pushed a sharp knife into Abis Tashobwa’s chest and he died while being rushed to Nabasa Hospital in Rwashamaire Town council.

The chairperson Local council one (LC1) Rukanga cell Fred Tumuhairwe told www.mknewslink.com reporter that Mutatina had some wrangles with the family over land.

Rogers Tibemanya the second brother to the deceased narrated that suspect was yesterday 27^th Oct.2021 beating their mother and when the deceased tried to save her, the suspect descended on him with a sharp knife.

Tibemanya accused his brother Mutatina of using drugs like marijuana and alcohol.

Police officers from Rwashamaire police station visited the scene, did a post mortem and the body was handed to the family for burial.
