ELEVEN FOR IBANDA MUNICIPALITY PARLIAMENTARY SEAT

Eleven candidates have been nominated to contest in the NRM party primaries Member of Parliament seat for Ibanda municipality in an exercise that ended on 9th May 2018 at NRM headquarters in Kyadondo.
The nominated candidates include Mr. Deus Rogers Mulinde, Tarsis Rwaburindoore, Ignitius Igunduura, Peter Agaba, Ben Kakwene, Fred Ssajakambwe Spanner, Lawrence Nuwagira, Arthur Nuwagaba Rwomushana, John Mugenyi, Innocent Mwine Bakamuhara and Ms. Leticia Tuheebwe the only female in the race.
The NRM district Registrar, Mr. Moses Arimwerenga, said eleven candidates were nominated for Member of Parliament while four candidates for Mayoral seat.
The four for the Mayoral post include; Apollo Kibeherere, Amon Mwijukye, Lois Kaboine and Levis Kunanuka.
Arimwerenga also explained that over 150 candidates have been nominated to contest in the NRM party primaries for different electoral positions in the municipality.
