ENTERTAINMENT: TAYLOR SWIFT AND JAMES CORDEN TO STAR IN ‘CATS’ FILM

Taylor Swift and James Corden have been cast in a movie adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sir Ian McKellen and Jennifer Hudson have also agreed to appear in the film.

Reports suggest that Hudson will play Grizabella, a former “glamour cat”, while McKellen will play Old Deuteronomy. Meanwhile, it’s speculated that Swift will play Bombalurina and that Corden with play either Bustopher Jones or the show’s villain Rum Tum Tugger.
The show follows a tribe of cats called the Jellicles over the course of one night as they decide which member of their group will ascend to the ‘Heaviside Layer’ and come back to a new life.
The show, which is loosely based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, has been translated into more than 20 languages and is the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history and the sixth longest on the West End.
Tom Hooper, who directed Les Miserables and The King’s Speech, will direct the film while Lee Hall, who wrote the 2000 film Billy Elliot, will adapt the musical.
Filming is set to begin later this year, though a release date has yet to be announced.

Eddy Kenzo is in Toronto where he is booked to sing at a series of shows alongside wonder kids, The Triplets, to whom he partly owes his success.
Kenzo’s social media has been a reflection that he is having a splendid time with the kids. But he confessed that he is missing his daughter, Aamal. He shared screenshots on Facebook from a live video chat he had had with the little princess.
Fans were quick to share their opinions, majority asking whether he misses Rema Namakula, his baby mama, something he ignored to reply to. The questions understandably stem from the feeling that the two are never on the best of terms.
Others fans posted pictures of a sad Rema writing along them, “She misses you.”
LYDIA JAZMINE ENJOYS LIFE WITH NEW MANAGER
Few days ago, we revealed here that musician, Lydia Jazmine, had signed a new manager, Robert Kampala, after falling out with her longtime manager Bushingtone.
Jazmine has started her new relationship with her manager Robert Kampala on a high note. The two are currently in London for a week holiday and this has sparked dating rumours.
However Mr.Kampala denies the claims saying that he is a married man with a beautiful woman and kids. He adds that he can’t mix love and business.
Manager Kampala; says after the London holiday, she will travel to Kenya to shoot some music videos.
