FDC AT THE VERGE OF COLLAPSE IN SHEEMA: DISTRICT PARTY LEADERS DIVIDED OVER WHO SHOULD HOLD FLAGS

FDC in Sheema district is at the verge of collapsing after the district top leaders have divided themselves over who should hold the party flags in 2021 the general elections.
The FDC chairman Sheema north Ephraim Mugarura said that someone can’t be baptized in the morning and he becomes a bishop in the evening.
He added that it is impossible for Guma Nuwagaba the former RDC Mitooma district to become a flag bearer barely two years after he has joined the party.
He wondered how in the first place Guma held the flag without going through FDC primaries so that they could choose between Guma and the party die hard Felix Mujuni.
Mugarura said that whereas Guma has the flag ,Mujuni who contested as independent has the support which puts FDC at the edge.
Relatedly, the FDC chairman Sheema municipality Eng. Jumbe Kyeyune complains that he was supposed to go through primaries with Virginia Plan Mugyenyi but out of the blue, Virginia emerged flag bearer.
He says it is an injustice done to him adding that he has therefore filed a case towards the party.
Felix Mujuni says that FDC is confused by its very own secretary Nandala Mafabi who is fed with wrong information, takes it for real without even a research
He adds that FDC in Sheema is also disorganized by people outside the district like Stanley Katembeyi the FDC governor for western region who is based in Mbarara but puts much interest in Sheema.
However, talking www.mknewslink.com the FDC flag bearer Sheema north Guma Nuwagaba revealed that people don’t understand the FDC rules and regulations very well and that’s why they are colliding.
He told our reporter that according to the party constitution, a person holds flag for 5 years therefore the flag which he got in 2018 is still valid.
He said that he’s a Catholic, and in his religion, if someone is ordained bishops, the rest of the followers have no option, but to follow.
