FDC, INDEPENDENTS WIN SEATS IN BUSHENYI LC1 ELECTIONS

In Bushenyi
High voter turn up in Bushenyi for the Lc1 elections has been observed in an exercise that took place in the whole country.
In some parts voting started late as voters started with checking of names in the registers. In central cell central division voting started at around 1: 15pm.
However some candidates have shown their dissatisfaction with the way election exercise was conducted.
Sudhir Oribingana an independent candidate and Turibarungi Lydia NRM candidate who lost Mwebembezi Milton FDC candidate have told www.mknewslink.com that they not accept the results becauses were not free and fair.
Milton got 105, sudhir63 and Lydia72 making FDC candidate a winner for Lc1 election in central cell, centrai division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
In Kyeitembe Cell Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality Ms. Rhoda of Uganda Federal Alliance (UFA) won the race.
In some parts of Kyeizooba, elections started late as most voters turned up and found that their names were missing in the registers.
In Kitagata parish, Independent candidate Rwambanga Apurinari emerged as a winner for Kakamba LC1 with 46votes beating NRM’s Tayebwa Elias who polled 44votes.
In Nyakatooma Cell, Independent candidate Mwebesa Bahizireyo also won with 48votes beating NRM’s Kenneth Njunwoha.
