FDC’s FANGURE ROSEMARY WINS KYAMUHUNGA WOMAN COUNCILLOR ELECTION

Rosemary Fangure Kabahamya of FDC emerged as a winner of theDistrict Woman Councillor for Kyamuhunga town council I Tuesday’s Election.
Fangure polled 1664 votes defeating NRM’s Ruth Byamukama who got 1514votes and the last one was Mrs.Byekwatso an independent candidate.
At St.Mary’s primary school polling station where Igara West MP Rafael Magyezi voes from, Fangure gathered 325votes while NRM’s Ruth Byamukama had only 157votes.
Fangure’s Husband showed great happiness and took to social media congratulatory message “On my own behalf and on behalf of Fangule family I would like to thank the people of Kyamuhunga town council for the great support and trust you have put on Fangure RoseMary . Together as a family and our councillor will work to develop Kyamuhunga and Uganda at large God being our help. We also give the praise to God for all authority and power comes from him. May God bless you and keep us together for the development of Kyamuhunga town council.”
In Mayoral seat, NRM candidate Musa Bikanya defeated FDC’s Midragyi.
