FDC’S KIIZA BESIGYE FAULTS GOVERNMENT ON THE DETERIORATING HEALTH SECTOR

Former FDC party president Rtd Col. Dr Kiiza Besigye has criticized the NRM government for sector for failure to construct referral hospitals in each district throughout the country.
Besigye said that even some of the districts within the country don’t have district hospitals which he said that it is shameful to the government in health sector.
The four times presidential candidate said this on Sunday 24th June 2018 evening during the burial of late Twiine Abeine Gerevaz the head teacher St. Paul’s secondary school Katojo Buyanja in Rukungiri district.
He hailed church for the good work done by constructing church founded hospitals that always refers patients when they have failed although the referral hospitals’ situations are even worse.
He further asked people not to be partisan whenever dealing with health issues noting that lack of a referral hospital does not affect only opposition.
The Rubabo Member of Parliament Hon Marry Paula Turyahikayo said that
it is unfortunate that the nation has lost such paramount person hence
asking people to emulate him.
