FIRED JUBILEE SACCO GENERAL MANAGER REFUSES TO HAND OVER OFFICE FOR YEAR NOW

The fired Jubilee SACCO manager Godwin Ahweera has so far completed a year without handing over office after he was fired by the board led by the chairman Rev. Can. Duncans Mugumya.

Godwin Ahweera is currently the senior finance officer at Bushenyi Local government and he took over that job one year ago after disagreeing with Jubilee SACCO board of directors.

Recently, the board wrote to him a strong worded letter warning him to hand over or be punished.

www.mknewslink.com on 3^rd Feb.2021 interviewed Godwin Ahweera and he cannot hand over office unless they tell him why he was fired and he is given his gratuity.

Gowdin started with the SACCO when it was in a sleeping mode and when Bishop Johnson took over; he engineered its growth, mobilized shares during his first tour in the diocese.

He was fired immediately after the SACCO had got out of the sleeping mode having received more shares through the Bishop’s mobilization.
