IN MBARARA—
The senior presidential adivisor on special operations Maj.Gen. Muhozi
Kainarugaba has supported plans by the government to install CCTV
cameras in urban areas in an effort to fight crime.
Speaking to Journalists at Second division army headquarters in
Mbarara Muhozi said the installation of such Gadgets will be a big
asset for the country to fight crime adding that these are the same
cameras big cities in the world use to curb crime.

Maj. Gen. Muhozi was at the Second army Division headquarters to
witness the hand over of 100 mattresses to the military hospital in
Makenke barracks. The Mattresses were donated by volunteers of Digital
platform of Uganda.
He also said that other mechanisms will be put in place to reduce
crime and vowed that all elements of negative forces like lords
resistance force of Joseph Kony, Al-shabab and ADF will be eliminated
